We had our second Open House on Thursday night here at Greenfield. Over 200 parents, students and friends came to meet their teachers and learn about the expectations for this school year. After a presentation from their teachers, students took their parents on a tour of the school to get their "passports" stamped. To do this, they had to find other teachers, resource teachers, the PTA table and the Parent Portal table among others.
On Friday morning after each Open House, we had a drawing for "goody" bags for 3 students. In addition, the Englewood Full Service School program provided a bag of school supplies to the classroom which had the highest percentage of parents in attendance.
Our PTA provided information about their budget for the coming year and members voted to approve the budget. They were also able to find out about some of the many benefits available for PTA members, including discounts to sporting events in town.
Students and staff enjoyed the evenings of fellowship and learning. It looks like our Dolphins are swimming off to a great year! Check out some of the pictures from our Open House!
