Our Dolphins combined reading and their favorite costumes on Wednesday. Our Book Character Parade allowed our students to dress as a character in a book they have read. Students dressed up and brought their books with them.
Our parade snaked through the school led by a pirate from Captain Abdul's Pirate School adn a soldier from My Dad, John McCain. We had ninjas, Spider Man, princesses, witches and warlocks, just to mention a few of the characters. It was nice to see that no matter what the costume, the studnet had a book in which the character lives.
Here are a few pictures from our parade. I hope you enjoy them!
